Are the women on News programs getting prettier for some reason?

Well, you've just taken notice - the women on the news have always been very attractive women. Connie Chung, Sandy Hill, Jane Pauley, Kathleen Kennedy, Maria Shriver, Deborah Norville, Jann Carl ... just to name a few. There are far more women to be sure, I still find it interesting when the newsdesk on shows has two women sitting. Admittedly, there is more recognition for women having brains these days and especially the pretty ones who may have been models in their pasts - traditionally women who modeled would never have been accepted as 'journalists.' And most attractive women would have started as 'weather girls' in the seemingly now distant past.
