Zelda Game Help? Please !?

In the legend of zelda twilight princess, i am in a little village and need to get back to ordon I just got my horse back. Now here is the problem two exits of the village are gated 1 is being blocked by a boulder 1 is a graveyard my horse can't go in and 1 is where death mountain is How do I get out ?? How can i open the gate?
