How easy is it to fill up a memory card that comes with the xbox 360 aracde console?

my friend says that his burnout paradise data took up 1gigabyte of memory, but my other friend says he has about 8 games worth of save data and its only about 1/4 full, can someone help me because i really want to get it for x mas and i need to know, thanks in advance.
