How Old Is Old Enough To Break?

Definitely not 2 or 3. Their limbs and bones aren't fully developed yet. You should wait until they are mature and fully grown and strong enough to carry a rider. I would say either 5 through 6. But if you just want to introduce a saddle and bit without riding, or maybe some light riding, you can start at 4. Like racehorses at 3 tend to have health issues with their legs after a few years. I hope I helped!
