Why do some mums force their daughters to grow up too fast? why cant they let them be a child?

I've often wondered this. Perhaps they were never allowed to as a child and believe it's 'giving them what I never had...freedom' or on the flip side it's how they were brought up so they know no better with their own kids. Some also use their children as dolls and think they're a way of showing money because of the designer clothes and such. I'm sorry but if they want something to dress up then get a little dog and be laughed at, don't torture a kid.
