ok, first of all no fast food or soft drinks. all that is is extra calories you do not need. I ume that you are in school since you are a young teen and unless your cafeteria is actually serving something healthy, it is most likely grease. so either brown bag a peanut er and jelly or somethin like that or eat anything healthy they have such as fruit or veggies. try not to eat an after school snack. if you must have one, sugar free jello is great b/c it only has 10 calories per serving. of course you know that you need to exercise, so some easy to do exercises at home would be stomach crunches, push ups, and lunged for your legs. do 2 sets of 20 the first week and then increase it by 5 every week. soon you will be a y momma!!! good luck girl!!!

Low blood sugars?????????

I have been having low blood sugars off and on since the birth of my almost 3 year old. And one doctor thought maybe due to hormone levels. I had hysterectomy in Jan. and ever since I have been having problems alot but I couldn't take the pills for menopause symptoms and the shots are causing the knots in the brest area. I eat a good breakfast and do better but if I don't I have problems all day. And they wanted me to have my hormone level checked next time it got below 60 but when my blood sugar gets below 60 I have to eat something cause it is scary being home with my kids alone if I don't. Cause before it gets that low I notice it cause I start getting really weak and shaky and my muscles hurt and then sometimes I don't feel very good when it goes up too quickly either I feel like I could p out. Any comments is greatly appreciated.

hey chris, most of the surfers i know in socal surf a 3/2 in the winter. i know one girl who is always cold and wears a 4/3 when it's really bad, but she's unusual. i myself have a 3/2 for winter (surf county line to san diego in it), a springsuit for spring and a 1mm jacket for wind, or a cooler summer morning. if you're going to get one suit for socal a 3/2 is the way to go. you may want to add booties when it's really cold. i find that the chill takes its toll more on my hands and feet than my core. dunno about the zipperless suits. i wouldn't want to try wiggling out of one when frozen but that's personal preference. you can get some deals on full suits in the height of summer. dive n' surf in redondo beach is the original body glove shop and i've scored a new full suit there before for $60-100. good luck!

Should I learn the Cello or the Violin?

I played the Baritone (Euphonium) for 4 years, and I really loved it, but when I entered highschool, the band...well, it sucked, especially for the supporting role of a baritonist. The music was too easy and way too boring, and I figure now is a good opportunity to learn a new instrument (one with better parts). So I was wondering, should I learn Violin or Cello? Why is Disney not releasing Doug, X-Men, Spider-Man, and many others on DVD?

My guess is because those titles when released on VHS didn't rack in enough money to urge them to release them on DVD or maybe when they released the first few volumes DVD wise they didn't rack in much money (since that seems to be the reason behind why Gargoyles suffered the fate of not completeing all its seasons on DVD - only season 1 and part 1 of season 2 are out). Of course the problem is its pretty stupid that Disney don't make those titles avaliable business wise since they would still rack in money and whether the money be minimium or not it could help them make more movies and rack in more money. The problem is the wish to release DVD's when the series is still in high or mid high popularity but by time they do release most of us, customers or Disney fans, never know about them unless their Disney movies (notice how every Disney title commercial is a movie redone w/ special effects or brighter tones but never or very rarely a tv series commercial comes up). So technically the idea that Disney is evil is technically accurate (lol, how else are we supposed to find out about A tv series on DVD if once on a blue moon a commercial comes up for it and nearly every day a disney movie has a commercial for it).

I don't think there's anything wrong with it as children need to become of the dangers out there. I teach in a community where ual abuse is a very common occurrence especially with my young children. I had children last year who were severly ually abused by their own parents and many of them come with bad behavioral problems. If I can creat awareness and help save some of my children from this sick world, I will.

You might consider keeping them and make a memory patch quilt out of them. It's a wonderful way to be able to make something useful for your child(ren). It can be a crib quilt or a twin sized one. You can have their birthdate embordried on a corner block of the quilt or some other significant day (such as their baptism). I've got one each for my two oldest girls and it makes me smile still when I see it.

I lost my voice, I have a bad sore throat, and congestion?

Okay so on Thursday I woke up in the morning and my throat burned. I figured it was like you know, sometimes when you wake up your throat hurts but you drink some water and it goes away. Well, it didnt and I didnt think anything of it and I went to school. The whole school day I couldnt concentrate, my throat burned and I was extremely tired, and I just didnt feel well. I went home and the next day when I woke up, my throat had gotten worse. I lost my voice, too. I took some mucinex, and some motrin, NyQuill, all that stuff, and I had cough drops but nothing really seemed to help much. I also developed a cough and a minor headache. I had a slight fever, and I was very very tired. Today, I woke up and my throat hurt just the same. I had NyQuill emediatly and it seemed to get rid of my cough, and im coughing with a lot of phlehm. But nothing really helps my throat, except for drinking a lot and having throat drops. I was really congested, too. My cough had tons of pleghm and it burned. And my saliva was really thick, to the point where I just wanted to spit it out. I sneezed a few times, blew my nose, popped my ears, coughed up phlegm, and had mucinex, and now my congestion isnt as bad. But I still have a bad sore throaat and im generally not feeling well. What do I have? Is it serious? Should I go to the doctor?

This will make it more comfortable for her and make it feel more safe. after she has her kittens, and cleans up, take the babies out and set them on the floor next to the box and get her some fresh bedding. put the kittens back in the box first so mom will follow. be sure to keep her in an area with little no traffic so she doesn't try and move the babies to a "safer" place

17 Pregnat Petrified of parents? Used to being the 'good girl'? scared being kicked out?

Me and my boyfriend came back from Greece yesterday but the night before he got bit by a mosquito and this morning he woke up with a rash around the bite on his knee but he put Betnovate RD cream on and that cleared it up around his knee but in the last hour and a half the rash, tiny little bumps that aren't any different colour to his skin, have started to appear all over his body, up his back, on hid arms, legs and all over his chest and stomach. Hi, I think I ovulated and conceived sometime between May 22-June 1st,because I've already started feeling pregnancy symptoms. Because I was taking the pill, I decided to stop, and now experiencing bleeding since last nite. I'm not exactly sure if it's breakthrough bleeding or implanation bleeding. It was brown in color, and now heavier and red. Does anyone know whether or not breakthrough bleeding could affect implanation or conception all together? I've been baking for almost a year now, and I would always bring little sweets to school, like brownies, or mini cupcakes, just for fun. But now it's just really pissing me off. My friends are always asking me "Soo, can you bake me ___?" And I'm just like....I just kinda blow it off, like "Eeh, well..." because I can't say no. I've told them that the stuff to bake these things doesn't come falling out of my ***. This stuff costs money, and they just think that it's so simple like "OH I GOT EVERYTHING LET ME GO BACK THIS". No it doesnt work like that.. Then the other day was one of my friend's friend's birthday, and my friend was like "So, you need to bake something for Lindsey's birthday, and when you do, you need to bring enough for EVERYBODY, ok?" And I straight up told her "You got the supplies" nothing followed. The next day, I saw them sitting together and they was like like "Elizabeth, you got the stuff?" I was like "Uuh, no?" "Why not" "Becuz stuff cost money, and I aint got none". (End the conversation.) I feel as if they just like me for my baking, or they act like I'ma machine, and they just think that I'm gonna bake them whatever the hell they want. I don't think so. Definitely not 2 or 3. Their limbs and bones aren't fully developed yet. You should wait until they are mature and fully grown and strong enough to carry a rider. I would say either 5 through 6. But if you just want to introduce a saddle and bit without riding, or maybe some light riding, you can start at 4. Like racehorses at 3 tend to have health issues with their legs after a few years. Job Interview/Salary Negotiating Help?

A couple weeks ago I did a phone interview with a company. The day after a phone interview in which they asked me for a salary expection (which I gave because I feared if I didn't I wouldn't move on in the interview process) they called me again to come in for a second interview. The interview went very well. They even had the big boss come down to meet with me and ask questions. This was a Thursday. The following Tuesday they called me, I thought to make an offer, but instead they wanted to tell me that my salary expectations were too high. They did not make an offer, and it seemed like they were trying to start negotiations without an offer. They would not even tell me a range to consider...they don't do that until they make an offer. So, instead of giving another number I told them that I am very willing to negotiate because I would really like to work for them and that it's hard for me to say a number without a range, but that I wanted to make sure that the compensation package was motivating and value-based and inline with the market rate. The person then asked me how I could justify my expected increase from my last job and I said that I was moving from a non-profit to the private sector. She also told me that she received very good feedback from the managers and big boss who interviewed me. She seemed satisified with my answers about salary and that another person would be caluculating amounts based on some factors (that I don't know) and that I would hear from them in the "next day or two." It is now day 3. I am nervous because I haven't heard from them (and it's Friday) and I really want this job, but am concerned because in the past I have been underemployed and underpaid for my worth. Is this a bad sign that they haven't called? How can I negotiate without knowing their terms? Should I give them a call?

I was coming from work, and somehow I am really nervous, and my heart starts beating a little faster than usual, I am 18 years old 5'11 190 pounds, So I go to the market and measure my blood pressure and I had 150/70, I am really nervous so I think that's why my heart started increasing so fast, now I feel more relaxed. Problem with volume knob on fender strat?

A while ago I traded out my stock pickups for some vintage noiseless pickups. Most of it worked fine back when I switched them out. Now, after having the pickups switched for so long, the volume knob doesn't work anymore. I checked the volume pot for any loose/cold joints, and re-soldered some joints. After this, the volume knob still doesn't work. It does change something about the guitar sound when it is turned... like tone or maybe a slight decrease in volume. It isn't like it does absolutely nothing... just not what it is supposed to do. It sounds so absolutely stupid to me because there are other factors not even considered especially physical condition. Think about it; would you say a blind person couldn't see because he didn't have the right attitude? Of course not, no one would. So a state medical condition like paralysis or blindness should also be considered. What if the condition weren't as obvious, let's just say the person had an allergy celiac disease, which hard to diagnose, and can affect someones mental state directly or indirectly by low blood count. Low blood count means less oxygen and therefore lower ability. The point is by making all ability just a matter of attitude and determination you leave a lot of people with subtle medical and psychological conditions open to hatred, people who don't deserve blame. I've been smoking for 6 years. I smoke about 6-12 cigs a day. I think it is a nicotine urge. Just recently, because I've been sick, yesterday I didnt smoke after 2pm. I went to a bar last night for 4 hours and didnt have 1 smoke. That hasnt happened in about 5 years. I woke up today and lasted about 3 hours before I had to have a smoke. I think it was a nicotine urge. I had a strong pull to have a cig. I ALSO believe that its partly mental. Throwing away the perfect guy?

My man is so sweet, like the sweetest guy ever. He looks tough and is strong, in a manual job, very steady and dependable. How long do stents do what they do?

Over the past 7 years I have had a total of 10 cardiac stents implanted around my heart. The most recent in April when I received 3. After the follow up visit with my Dr. I asked how long stents last. He replied that they should last the rest of my life. While driving home it dawned on me that his answer could be taken in different ways. If I had a heart attack and died tomorrow he would be right, they lasted for the rest of my life. Smoking during pregnancy?

i'm 36 weeks with our first child, and yes, we both smoke. we've cut down, but we still are smoking. i don't condone it, BUT i do believe that if a woman chooses to smoke, leave her alone. all that constant nagging is going to do is irritate an already irritable woman and make her put you in your place. and unless you are holding her money and watching her around the clock, you can't make her not smoke. you can give your opinion if you know her, but don't go on and on about it. if anything, it will make her smoke more because she is stressed out. if you see a pregnant woman smoking and you don't know her, don't give your opinion, it's not your business. yes, smoking can cause problems, but like you said, you never hear the amount of babies born to smokers that don't have problems. i have an obgyn that is very understanding. instead of saying you should quit smoking, she applauded me when i told her i had cut down. she didn't keep saying you need to quit, she understands that it's a hard thing to do and was happy at the effort, then said to keep up the good work. that's nicer than saying, it's not enough, and it's received better. i've noticed that it is more accepted to drink however when you're pregnant. it's actually been said that if your doctor has okayed it, it's okay to have a gl of wine every day. i thought alcohol was bad for the baby. it's a double standard, because a lot of the women that are against moms that smoke really like their alcohol. so it's downplayed. another thing, if a woman that smokes a lot quits cold turkey when she finds out she's pregnant, it's going to be stressful. my obgyn told me not to quit right out, because the stress would be almost as bad for the baby and would be bad for me. and my obgyn is a very qualified doctor. if you can deal with an irritable woman that is also going through nicotine withdrawals, then you can voice your opinion, otherwise, keep your mouths shut. we don't want to hear it, and quite frankly, the advice from strangers is no more important that the advice from medical officials. there are a lot worse things that you can do when pregnant and after, trust me.

okk. so i have this friend that is a guy. he loves putting makeup on me and doing my hair. and he always loves helping me shop. he knows the highest latest fashions and he always picks out my outfits when we hang out. hes not wierd around girls. I'm a fan of the show Fresh Prince, with Will Smith. I'll cut the crap, I'm sure you know of it if you clicked on this. I'm a very frequent 'Nick at Nite' viewee. Fresh Prince is always one of my favorites, but lately, it's been making me mad. The show, especially in the earlier seasons, is right on the fence of blatantly moking white people. Cisco IP Phone 7911: Error "Ethernet Disconnected"?

The phone is connected to a Cisco 3750 switch port with PoE enabled. The connected port is on the voice VLAN. CAT5 cable has been tested end-to-end and meets 568B. Port speed/duplex is 100/full. RJ-45 connectors were replaced at both ends, twice. No errors on interface. But I still can't seem to resolve this issue. The phone registers with Call Manager in a test enviroment, but not when deployed. Is there something I'm missing?

Mam I take it your roof is bad so as always it will need to simply be stripped down to the wood, Plywood is made different from osb but for the money replace with osb and any rotten material will have to be replaced. If you plan on keeping this house for along time I would fix it to last, meaning there are cheaper ways of fixing a leak. So many ways to get robbed by contractors, Not saying all of them. But if you are going new get three bids and ask about going with the new metal roofs compared to shingles they come in colors of choice and have I think a twenty year warranty on the paint. Anyway more bids will give you a better idea of cost and labor, Don't mention how much you have to spend. Don't think a contractor will accept payment plans, You would have to get a loan or if you qualify for some program i dint know about that. Hauling off old material should be included in price and do make sure this is clear, Venting a roof is simply keeping the loft part from sweating and the ridge type work fine but the design could pull to much heat out during winter possibly I prefer the turbo type that spin. If the eaves need replaced they make vented plastic replacements that are easily installed. Contractors need to give a recent reference also if you ask and up to them for over seeing job. The felt you mentioned dosent cost much and is needed if shingles are used 2 and 3 tab is simply a longer shingle.
