In your view, are tax subsidies for oil companies truly conservative or neoconservative?

First off it is a tax break provided that they do something, that something that they have to do to get the tax breaks is find alternatives to petroleum based products. Second, a subsidy is for doing nothing, like growing no peanuts on that 50 acres. Or producing less milk on a diary farm. Now that we got that straight, the conservative thing to do is cut all subsidies, and write a good tax code that is just and fair to all, including business.
