Christmas and birthday too close together - advice?

i have the same problem, my boyfriends birthday is on the 5th December. i generally either get more for the birthday, and a bit less for christmas. as i think that people who have their birthday nearer christmas always lose out a bit on their birthday, and it's not celebrated as much as if it were in the middle of the year. so i always make for of a fuss on the birthday than christmas. and i think what you have got your girlfriend is great.
