Why should animals have rights?

Sorry you had to go through that, BUT......you put yourself in that situation. You went into the shark's "house". I have a standing agreement with ALL carnivorous creatures-if it strolls into my living room, its fair game, and if I go into its territory, then I am. Animals have no concept of rights, and I am sure the shark did not discern between you being human or being any other natural prey in its world. I get so p!ssed off when I hear of a bear, shark, mountain lion, or other creature being killed because it attacked a human, when the human was the one in the wrong place. Again, if one wanders into my house, all bets are off, but if we go prowling in their domain, then we are fair game.
