3d cards? Help?

I want to buy a 3d card as my pc won't let us play alot of the games. Have got a G-Force nvidea but dont think its got the 3d bit, there are so many to choose from and so variable in price that I am a little confused. Seen one g-force 3d for �20 odd quid and some for 100's. Help please?
