Problem with volume knob on fender strat?

A while ago I traded out my stock pickups for some vintage noiseless pickups. Most of it worked fine back when I switched them out. Now, after having the pickups switched for so long, the volume knob doesn't work anymore. I checked the volume pot for any loose/cold joints, and re-soldered some joints. After this, the volume knob still doesn't work. It does change something about the guitar sound when it is turned... like tone or maybe a slight decrease in volume. It isn't like it does absolutely nothing... just not what it is supposed to do. My guess is the little jumper cable on the pickup selecter. My main concern, however, is the volume knob.
