Should I wish him a happy birthday?

My sister in law's brother was very rude to me when he visited from out of town so I have him on ignore on my Facebook to block all his comments. He always ignored everything I posted so I stopped posting on his wall a long time ago, but lady month he was the first to wish me a happy birthday at the stroke of midnight posting wishes on my wall. Today is his birthday and I haven't been able bring myself to wish him a happy bday for past hurt. Should I or will I look like a doormat sending the message it's ok for him to tray me rudely?
