What happens when a one hit KO move hits a Pokemon with sturdy?

I have a Carracoasta which has the ability sturdy meaning it cannot be knocked out in one hit. However my friend has an Excadrill which has a move that can knock out a pokemon in one go. What would happen if he used this move on my Carracoasta?
